Manic Monday Minute...

Hi, here I am predictable as clockwork, ready to take part in the Monday Minute which is being hosted by Kmama today over at the daily dribbles. To know more about this go to her amazing site or to Ian’s blog who hosts this usually.

Hope you enjoy reading my answers as much as I enjoyed writing them! Happy Monday! I can just imagine the glares and vengeful thoughts I have inspired with these last two words…

Here are my answers:

1 - What's the specs of the first computer you owned?
If I knew how to answer this question I wouldn’t be getting subjected, every now and then, to the gentle ribbing (read wild, insane marathonic laughter) from the people who proclaim to be close to me.

2 - Are you on Twitter/Facebook/etc, if so link it/them up
Yes. I am on Facebook…how do you go about linking it up? This is just to drive the point home regarding my total lack of internet skills…no really how do you do it?

3 - Who's more to blame for the oil mess in the gulf - BP or the Gov't and why?
Both I say but BP certainly. How can you be so damn uncaring? The Govt should have had a proper monitoring system in place to prevent such disasters in the first place…

4 - What's your favorite Dr. Suess book?
How The Grinch Stole Christmas!!!

And finally...

5 - What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a filthy, indecently rich man’s wife so that my manicure would always stay fresh
or maybe work as a maid in some swish hotel and get noticed by a rich sheikh who would end up proposing marriage…Ring a Bell anyone?

  1. To link up your facebook account, you could either just cut and paste the address into your blog post, or you could type "Facebook" and then click the little paperclip looking thingy in your blog editor while you are typing your post, and then paste the address there. That will make "Facebook" a hyperlink.

    Thanks for linking up!

  2. I don't do facebook or twitter but I know so many people who do. We did them for awhile but stopped.
I have a feeling that there is more information that needs to be brought to light regarding BP.

  3. I know how to answer the specs question but have no memory of the exact specs of my first computer. Why would someone hold onto that?

And I could also link my FB page to my blog but don't want to. I keep a very strict FB?blog separation.

But... so many, many wonderful Seuss books!

  4. I'm still looking for my sheikh(a) too ;0)

I started a separate page on Facebook for Eternally Distracted... the 'real' me is separate!
